Cashback Rewards are provided by MoneyMe Financial Group Pty Ltd (ABN 40 163 691 236)
Australian Credit Licence 442218 (we / us / our) to eligible cardholders of the Card (you / your).
These T&Cs set out the terms and conditions that apply to Cashback Rewards.
By earning Cashback Rewards, you are deemed to have accepted these T&Cs.
Capitalised words have a special meaning and are defined at the end of these T&Cs.
Your credit card contract contains important terms and conditions that apply to your Credit Card Account and use of the Card. These T&Cs should be read in conjunction with your credit card
contract, and if there is any inconsistency between these T&Cs and your credit card contract, the terms of your credit card contract will prevail.
We may offer special promotions in connection with Cashback Rewards from time to time, in which case additional terms and conditions may apply.

1. Eligibility and participation
- 1.1. Cashback Rewards are available to all cardholders of the Card.
- 1.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to Cashback Rewards without giving you advance notice if:
- (a) your Credit Card Account is suspended or closed, including in the event of your death, legal incapacity or the prolonged dormancy of your Credit Card Account;
- (b) you are in default under your credit card contract with us; or
- (c) you engage in conduct that, in our reasonable opinion, is unsatisfactory or inconsistent with the purpose or intent of the Cashback Rewards program.
- If we suspend or terminate your access to Cashback Rewards in these circumstances, we will act reasonably and notify you promptly (which may be after the suspension or termination has taken effect).
- 1.3. We may suspend or terminate the Cashback Rewards program at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of any such suspension or termination, but we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the Cashback Rewards program immediately without notice if we consider it reasonably necessary to restore or maintain the security of our systems, to manage a material or immediate risk, or to prevent loss to you or us.
- 1.4. If we suspend or terminate the Cashback Rewards program, we will credit any earned Cashback Rewards to your Credit Card Account on the date of suspension or termination.
- 1.5. We may make changes to these T&Cs at any time. If we make any changes to these T&Cs, we will act reasonably and we will give you at least 14 days’ notice of the changes.
2. Earning Cashback Rewards
- 2.1. Subject to these T&Cs, you are entitled to earn Cashback Rewards for each Eligible
Transaction made using your Card.
- 2.2. You will not earn Cashback Rewards for any Excluded Transactions made using your Card.
- 2.3. Cashback Rewards for each Statement Period are calculated by multiplying the
applicable Earn Rate by the total amount of Eligible Transactions.
For example, if you spend $1,000 on Eligible Transactions and $1,000 on Excluded Transactions in a Statement Period, and the Earn Rate is 1%, you will earn $10 in Cashback Rewards.
- 2.4. Cashback Rewards cannot be earned on any Eligible Transactions that are made after your actual Credit Limit for your Credit Card Account has been exceeded in a Statement Period.
For example, if you have a Credit Limit of $10,000 for your Credit Card Account, and spend $8,000 on Eligible Transactions and $2,000 on Excluded Transactions in the Statement Period, you will earn Cashback Rewards calculated on $8,000.
However, if you have a Credit Limit of $10,000 for your Credit Card Account, and spend $12,000 on Eligible Transactions and $2,000 on Excluded Transactions in the Statement Period, you will earn Cashback Rewards calculated only on $10,000.
- 2.5. We will notify you if we vary the Earn Rate and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice of the change. Any special promotional offers may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
3. Redeeming Cashback Rewards
- 3.1. Cashback Rewards will accrue throughout each Statement Period and will be automatically credited to your Credit Card Account at the end of the relevant Statement Period if you pay the Minimum Repayment for your Credit Card Account by the payment due date shown on your Credit Card Account Statement for that Statement Period, and you do not otherwise forfeit earned Cashback Rewards in accordance with clause 5.
- 3.2. At our discretion, earned Cashback Rewards may be credited to your Credit Card Account despite your failure to pay the Minimum Repayment for your Credit Card Account by the payment due date shown on your Credit Card Account Statement for that Statement Period.
- 3.3. Cashback Rewards that are credited to your Credit Card Account do not count towards payment of your Minimum Repayment for your Credit Card Account due in any Statement Period. You are required to separately make the Minimum Repayment for each Statement Period.
- 3.4. Cashback Rewards cannot be sold, transferred or assigned by you to any other person or account.
4. Reversals and negative balances of Cashback Rewards
- 4.1. We may withhold or reverse earned Cashback Rewards from your pending Cashback Rewards balance if:
- (a) Cashback Rewards have been added to your pending Cashback Rewards balance by our mistake or error; or
- (b) we reasonably consider that an Eligible Transaction was made unlawfully or in connection with possible fraud or scam activity.
- 4.2. If an Eligible Transaction for which Cashback Rewards have been earned is subsequently refunded or reversed, we will deduct the amount of Cashback Rewards earned for that Eligible Transaction from your pending Cashback Rewards balance and that amount will not be credited to your Credit Card Account.
- 4.3. If an Eligible Transaction for which Cashback Rewards have been earned and credited to your Credit Card Account is subsequently refunded or reversed, we will debit your Credit Card Account for an amount that is calculated by multiplying the Reversal Rate by the amount of the Eligible Transaction that has been refunded or reversed. The amount debited to your Credit Card Account will form part of your outstanding balance and will become due and payable to us in accordance with the terms of your credit card contract.
- 4.4. If you have a negative Cashback Rewards balance at the end of a Statement Period, we will debit the monetary value of this balance to your Credit Card Account, which will form part of your outstanding balance and will become due and payable to us in accordance with the terms of your credit card contract.
5. Forfeiture of Cashback Rewards and Credit Card Account closure
- 5.1. Any Cashback Rewards that have been earned but not yet credited to your Credit Card Account will be forfeited if:
- (a) you do not pay the Minimum Repayment for your Credit Card Account by the payment due date shown on your Credit Card Account Statement for that Statement Period;
- (b) you are in default under your credit card contract with us; or
- (c) we suspend or terminate your access to Cashback Rewards for the reasons set out in clause 1.2.
- 5.2. At our discretion, we may reinstate any Cashback Rewards which are forfeited.
- 5.3. If your Credit Card Account is closed prior to the redemption of any earned Cashback Rewards, we will credit the monetary value of those Cashback Rewards to your Credit Card Account as at the date of closure.
- 5.4. The monetary value of any negative Cashback Rewards balance must be paid in full, without set-off or deduction before you can close your Credit Card Account.
6. General provisions
- 6.1. We may assign, novate or transfer our rights and obligations under these T&Cs to any person without prior notice or your consent. You may not assign, novate or transfer your rights and obligations under these T&Cs to any person.
- 6.2. We accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the earning and crediting of Cashback Rewards.
- 6.3. Subject to any applicable laws, we may give you any notice, statement or other document connected to these T&Cs by:
- (a) giving it to you personally;
- (b) leaving it at or posting it to your residential or business address last known to us;
- (c) electronic means to your electronic address last known to us, including by email; or
- (d) any other means permitted by law, including via SMS or our App.
7. Definitions
- Card means the MoneyMe Cashback Rewards Card.
- Cashback Rewards means the cashback rewards offered by us to eligible cardholders of the Card.
- Credit Card Account means your credit card account held with us in connection with the Card.
- Credit Card Account Statement means the statement of account issued by us in relation to your Credit Card Account.
- Credit Limit means the credit limit specified in your credit card contract with us (as varied from time to time).
- Earn Rate means 1% (as varied from time to time).
- Eligible Transactions means all transactions you made using the Card that are not Excluded Transactions.
- Excluded Transactions means any of the following transactions (as varied from time to time):
- (a) cash advances (including ATM withdrawals);
- (b) wire transfers and money orders;
- (c) excluded payment transactions, including BPAY payments, payments for stored value cards or securities;
- (d) gambling and lottery payments;
- (e) government charges and payments, including payments to the Australian Taxation Office;
- (f) payments for fees and charges and interest associated with your Credit Card Account; and
- (g) balance transfers.
- Minimum Repayment means the minimum repayment amount due on the payment due date set out in your Credit Card Account Statement.
- Reversal Rate means 1% (as varied from time to time).
- Statement Period means the statement period stated in your Credit Card Account Statement.
- T&Cs means the Cashback Rewards Terms and Conditions.
